We are so excited to introduce you to our new chiropractor on staff, Dr. Katey!! She comes to our office with a years of experience and knowledge. Here is her story:
I’m Dr. Katey Sharick, I live in Lower Burrell with my husband and my one year old son. I grew up in Natrona Heights where I attended Highlands High School and played softball and basketball. I continued playing softball at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH where I studied exercise science and athletic coaching. I then went on to become a personal trainer and a chiropractic assistant which is where my interest and passion for the chiropractic field started.
Attending Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida was the best decision I have ever made. It allows me to live out my dream of helping others the best way I know how. I love serving my community and am looking forward to continuing to do so for a very long time. I enjoy treating and working with people of all ages and backgrounds, but my experiences as an athlete, personal trainer, and mother has piqued my passion for working with athletes, pregnant mothers, and children. I understand the importance of keeping athletes performing at an optimal level, and through chiropractic, I can help remove interference within the spine to help the entire body work at its best. I also can relate to the aches and pains pregnancy can bring to a woman’s body, having suffered from low back pain myself while carrying my son. Chiropractic adjustments were the only solution to my pain and I enjoy helping other soon-to-be mothers go through their pregnancy as comfortable as possible. Nothing gives me more satisfaction and drive than seeing people reap the benefits chiropractic has to offer. I look forward to delivering quality chiropractic care to the people of this community!
